"Amazing"

The purpose of this blog was to chronicle my story of adoption. I thought it was important to have this source of contact with family and friends while I was in Kazakhstan. I thought it was important for me personally to be able to journal my feelings and experiences. I also felt it would be important for Noah to one day be able to read this story. I will be having it printed into a book that he can keep and cherish and even one day be able to share it with his own children.

I have to decided to end my story ... "A Mother's Journey to Kazakhstan" and to concentrate now on my task at hand ... loving, nurturing, and raising Noah to be all God would have him to be. I have always said, "a picture speaks a thousand words," so I have put together a video montage accompanied by a beautiful and appropriate song called "Amazing." While there is no way I can find the words myself to adequately bring this blog to an end ... I believe the pictures and the song will say it all. Click on the link below and enjoy.

I just wanted to say thank you for opening your blog up and allowing those of us going through this process to be able to share yours. Your story is a heartwarming story and gives me that much more hope that this journey is going to lead me to the daughter that god intended for me. I will be travelling solo too and look forward to coming home and starting my forever family.

If your intersted in following my journey (not sure you will have time ) please email me as my journey is also private. wattie21@cfl.rr.com.

Your son is absolutely beautiful and you two look like you were perfectly made for each other. Good luck on the next part of your journey. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Jayne,
This was truly "amazing"! Tears of joy for you and Noah are streaming down my face. Coley watched the last few minutes with me and he knew how moved I was to watch the video...he placed his hand on my shoulder the way a son would comfort his mother and let me cry! Your blog has meant the world to me and my family. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey and for including me at the end!!
Love to both of you,
Anita

Jayne,
My husband and I wish to thank you for letting us follow your journey. Originally it started for me to connect with someone who lost their mother just as I did (glad Andrea connected us). It was exciting to open your blog each day and see what you had to say, what Noah looked like and how he reacted. That smile would always put a smile on my face too. It was quite entertaining at times and very heartwarming too. Noah is just adorable. The last video brought tears to my eyes. What a journey for you both!!

Hi Jayne,
It's Christina Aranda! Meagan told me the wonderful news of your son! I was able to find your blog and I've spent several HOURS reading and watching your journey from beginning to end...or, should I say from beginning to another beginning?

I am so touched by all the effort and tears and love you've given to bring Noah into your life. I know God was guiding everything and you rose to the call. He is really beautiful and you two are beautiful together! I just know life is going to be sunny and fun and a wonder every day! Hooray!

Hi -

We wanted to let you know that my friend Stacy and I are starting a orphan ministry for the children in Kaz. Our first big project is a Kaz Cookbook. We are asking all Kaz adoptive families to donate 1-3 of their favorite family recipes to be published with all the proceeds going to charity. If you would like to donate a recipe and for more information please visit www.hopeforkazakhorphans.blogspot.com.

We hope to hear from you.

Thanks,
~Kim and Stacy

Noah is amazing. We'd love to meet you both if ever you're in Birmingham again. We adopted our daughter Roxana from Kostanai, Kazakhstan and had the fortune of meeting some of your Semey friends at the airport and in Almaty.
